Below are programs and resources presented especially for teachers considering the Challenger Learning Center of Maine experience for their students.
Simulated Missions

The Challenger Learning Center Space Mission Simulator offers visitors the next best thing to actual space flight with a Mission Control room designed after the NASA Johnson Space Center and Space Lab modeled after the laboratory on the International Space Station. During a space mission, astronauts in the Space Lab Simulator work with their counterparts in the Mission Control Simulator to fly one of three simulated space missions: Rendezvous with a Comet, Return to the Moon and Earth from Orbit.
Virtual Missions

Challenger has great virtual mission simulation and STEM programming that is done virtually! We can virtually connect with teacher & students in the classroom and in remote locations due to COVID.
STEM Programs

These programs are hands-on, minds-on learning, rich in science content and aligned to the current standards. Programs run from 1 – 2.5 hrs and are offered at your school, at Challenger, or even some virtually!
