
High School Volunteer Summer Camp 2025 Application
Do you enjoy STEM? Do you want to participate in an exciting outreach opportunity this summer? Do you like working with young students also excited about STEM? You should consider volunteering at Challenger.
Challenger Maine is looking for 1-2 high school student volunteers for each week of summer camp. High school students would assist during camp in the following ways:

- Assist with experiment and activity prep work.

- Assist Camp Staff during camp activities with students.

- Assist with experiment and activity setup and teardown.

- Help spread an enthusiastic and cheerful attitude at Challenger summer camp.
High school students will need to apply using the form below. All high school students will need to complete a virtual or in-person interview (exception amde for return volunteers). All high school students will be required to participate in a mandatory volunteer training. Training date in June is TBD. It will be a required 1 hr training at Challenger. Each volunteer will be required to register for 1 full week of summer camp, but will be allowed to assist with up to 2 weeks.

June 23rd-26th Astronaut Academy Session 1
July 7th-11th Motion Makers Camp
July 14th-17th Robot Tech Session 1
July 21st-24th Astronaut Academy Session 2
July 28th-31st Robot Tech Session 2
August 4th-7th Expedition Earth Session 1
August 11th-14th Expedition Earth Session 2
August 18th- 20th and 22nd-23rd Camp Curious A and B (half days)
Summer Camp week preference is first come, first serve.
